Warranty terms

In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your product, it is covered by our Gerbing Warranty. The warranty is valid from the moment of purchase, but only upon presentation of the original receipt or invoice and registration of the purchase. In accordance with EU standards, we provide a minimum two-year warranty on all heating products, including accessories such as batteries and chargers. In countries where longer warranty periods are mandated by local regulations, extended warranty coverage will apply accordingly.. The first six months of this warranty you have full warranty, unless the defect is caused by incorrect or improper use, or by a (unilateral) accident. The next 18 months are covered by our warranty if the defect is a manufacturing one. The internal MicrowirePRO® heating elements (located after the control button) are covered by Gerbing’s full warranty for the life of the pair of gloves or (clothing) product. Non-visible elements located inside the product, excluding all product-related connections such as cables extending from the gloves, cables located in the pockets of the garments, and the control button, are covered under the previously explained two-year warranty terms.
Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty will be voided if:
● The product is damaged due to an accident
● The product has been poorly maintained
● The product has been modified
● The product has been used for purposes other than its intended use
● The product shows abnormal wear

Steps for submitting a warranty request at Gerbing Heated Clothing

1. Complete the Warranty Form:
To submit a warranty request, please use the warranty form available on our website: https://gerbing.eu/en/warranties/. :
● Provide Proof of Purchase:
Make sure to include a valid purchase invoice or receipt, as Gerbing requires this to process any warranty claim.
● Ensure Correct Contact Information:
When filling out the Return/Exchange form, ensure you provide a correct email address and your phone number including the appropriate country code.
2. Receive Confirmation:
After submitting the form, Gerbing will review your request. If your claim meets the warranty terms, you will receive a warranty form with a case number and the procedure to ship your product via email. If any information is missing or if the claim is not covered, Gerbing will request additional details or provide a refusal.
3. Prepare Your Shipment:
When shipping your product to Gerbing for warranty service, include the warranty form with the product inside the box and write the number on the packaging. Shipment is at your expense.
4. Product Cleanliness Requirement:
Ensure that any clothing item sent back for repair is clean following our specific washing instructions. If not, it may be returned at your expense.
5. Processing Time:
Please allow 2-4 weeks from the date of shipment for your repair to be completed and returned to you.

Gerbing repair service

If your product can be repaired but your warranty request doesn’t meet the warranty terms, Gerbing Heated Clothing provides a repair service. You can submit the same form and ask for a quote. Repair prices range between €16.49 and €20.62 before taxes. Shipping costs will be added. We’ll send you a repair offer based on your request.”
